Author Biographies
Dr. Muhammad Yunus is a Bangladeshi social entrepreneur, banker, economist, and civil society leader who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for founding the Grameen Bank and pioneering the concepts of microcredit and microfinance. He is also the author of several books, including Banker to the Poor and Creating a World Without Poverty.
Dr. Karl Widerquist is a professor of social entrepreneurship at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is the author of several books on social enterprise, including The Handbook of Social Entrepreneurship and Social Entrepreneurship: Theory and Practice.
Dr. Jennifer Hinton is a professor of social enterprise at the University of Cambridge. She is the author of several books on social enterprise, including The Routledge Companion to Social Enterprise and Social Enterprise: Theory and Practice.
