Nelson Mandela
Nelson Mandela was born on July 18, 1918, in Mvezo, South Africa. He was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician, and philanthropist who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was the country's first black head of state and the first elected in a fully democratic election.

Desmond Tutu
Desmond Tutu was born on October 7, 1931, in Klerksdorp, South Africa. He is a South African Anglican cleric and theologian known for his work as an anti-apartheid activist.
Tutu was the first black Archbishop of Cape Town and the first black person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. He is a vocal advocate for human rights and has spoken out against injustice and oppression all over the world.
Tutu has written several books, including his autobiography, No Future Without Forgiveness. He is a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States.
Albert Luthuli
Albert Luthuli was born on March 19, 1898, in Groutville, South Africa. He was a South African anti-apartheid activist and politician who served as President of the African National Congress (ANC) from 1952 to 1960.
Luthuli was a key figure in the anti-apartheid movement and helped to raise international awareness of the struggle for racial justice in South Africa.
Luthuli was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1960 for his peaceful resistance to apartheid. He was the first black African to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
Luthuli died on July 21, 1967, at the age of 69. He is remembered as one of the most influential figures of the anti-apartheid movement.
