Synopsis
Dragon Age: Knight Errant is a novel set in the world of Thedas, the same setting as the popular video game series. The novel follows the story of Vaea, a young woman who must choose between her duty to her people and her desire for freedom.
Vaea is a member of the Avvar, a nomadic people who live in the Frostback Mountains. When her tribe is attacked by darkspawn, Vaea is forced to flee. She ends up in the city of Kirkwall, where she meets a group of Grey Wardens, an Free Download of warriors who fight against the darkspawn.
The Grey Wardens offer Vaea a chance to join their Free Download, and she accepts. As a Grey Warden, Vaea must travel to the Deep Roads, a vast network of tunnels that is home to the darkspawn. She must also face her own inner demons, as she struggles to come to terms with the death of her family.
